Within the framework of the humanitarian activities of the State of Israel, MDA teams are acting constantly transferring patients and injured victims from the Gaza Strip to hospitals in Israel to receive medical treatment. Today (Thursday) in full cooperation between the Foreign Ministry, MDA, the coordinator of government activities in the West Bank and the Turkish Red Crescent Society, MDA teams transferred 33 patients and injured victims from the Erez Crossing to Ben Gurion Airport, where a Turkish plane was waiting for them to fly the patients and injured victims for further treatment in hospitals in Ankara.
MDA Director General, Eli Bin: "as part of the activities of MDA and as emissaries of the State of Israel, MDA teams cooperated with the teams from the Red Crescent in humanitarian activities. As on the two previous occasions, cooperation was once again carried out in an efficient and honorable manner".
